Commercial properties vary in size and complexity. Some inspections on smaller buildings can be simple and efficient, while larger buildings can be very complex. In every case, there is always more than meets the eye. Parking lots, underground electrical, and drainage are a few examples of hidden systems that are vital to the overall performance of each property. Each job is quoted individually based on client's needs and the total scope of work. For more information, please call or email.
THE PROCESS
Every property has a history, and it is important to know that history! Every commercial inspection begins with the current building owner/manager interviews where we discuss the property at the surface level and gather relevant documentation and information about the property. This can include system maintenance history, renovations, additions, and repairs to the structures. Blueprints and relevant documents are reviewed for potential "red flags" and help paint the story of the property. The on-site inspection is then scheduled, and any necessary consultants and sub-contractors will meet to go over all the systems within the structures, or sub-structures, of the property.
All commercial inspections include:
Optional & as-needed additional services:
RESEARCH & REPORTING
After the inspection, a research and analysis period is conducted. Depending on the property inspected, this could take up to several weeks to be completed. This can include life and safety equipment deficiencies, maintenance repairs needed and any recommendations, structural analysis, and more. A detailed client's report is then prepared and a meeting is scheduled to go over the inspection results.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Because commercial property inspections vary in size and complexity, each job is quoted individually based on client needs and the total scope of work. Property location and age of structures are just a few factors that are taken into consideration. Call me today to speak more about your next commercial inspection.
